**Branding Roundcube webmail**\
Learn how to brand Roundcube webmail to display your organization's logo and name.

This article explains how to customize Roundcube with a logo and name. This is useful if you use webmail for your organization.

**Branding Roundcube**\
To brand Roundcube with your organization's logo and name, follow these steps:

1. ## Install Roundcube

   - If your hosting account includes Softaculous, you can use it to install Roundcube. For instructions, see this article.
   - Managed hosting accounts include Roundcube by default, but you cannot modify its files. To brand Roundcube, you need a standalone installation.
   - If Softaculous is not available, install Roundcube manually. For instructions, see the [official Roundcube documentation](https://github.com/roundcube/roundcubemail/wiki).
2. ## Edit the product name

   - In your Roundcube installation directory, open `config/config.inc.php` with a text editor.
   - Locate the line:

     ```
     $config['product_name']
     ```
   - Change the value to your desired name, e.g.:

     ```
     $config['product_name'] = 'My Great Company';
     ```
   - The `product_name` value appears on the login page and in the browser title bar.
3. ## Upload custom images

   - Upload `logo.svg` to the `skins/skin_name/images` directory, where `skin_name` is the skin (theme) to modify.

     - **Tip:** SVG files are Scalable Vector Graphics, an XML-based image format. More info: [SVG](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scalable_Vector_Graphics).
   - Upload `favicon.ico` to the same directory.

     - **Tip:** Favicons appear in the browser address bar and bookmarks. More info: [Favicon](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Favicon).
4. ## Determine the default skin

   - Open `config/defaults.inc.php` and locate:

     ```
     $config['skin'] =
     ```
   - Since users can change skins, upload your logo files to all directories under `skins` to ensure your custom images appear for any skin.
