**Avactis** is an open‑source e‑commerce platform that allows businesses to quickly set up online stores with product catalogs, shopping carts, and payment integration. With **Softaculous**, you can install Avactis in just a few clicks through cPanel.

## Steps to Install Avactis

1. **Log in to cPanel.**

2. **Search for Avactis.**

   - In the Softaculous dashboard, type *Avactis* in the search box.
   - Or browse under **E‑Commerce → Avactis**.
3. **Click Install.**

   - The installation page will open.
4. **Choose Protocol.**

   - Select `https://` or `https://www` if your site has an SSL certificate.
   - Select `http://` or `http://www` if SSL is not installed.
5. **Choose Domain.**

   - Select the domain where Avactis will be installed.
6. **Set Directory.**

   - Leave blank if you want Avactis installed at the root (e.g., `example.com`).
   - Enter a folder name (e.g., `store`) if you want Avactis installed at `example.com/store`.
7. **Configure Store Settings.**

   - **Site Name** → Enter the name of your shop.
   - **Admin Email** → Enter the administrator’s email address.
   - **Admin Password** → Use a strong password (Softaculous provides a strength meter or can generate one).
   - **First/Last Name** → Enter administrator details.
8. **Database Settings.**

   - Provide a database name or accept the default.
   - Configure table prefix if needed.
9. **Advanced Options (Optional).**

   - Configure automated backups and rotation.
   - Enable email notifications for updates.
   - Choose auto‑upgrade options for Avactis.
10. **Install.**

    - Review settings and click **Install**.
    - Wait for confirmation. Softaculous will display the Avactis login URL (e.g., `example.com/store`).

> **Note:**
- Avactis installation via Softaculous is available in **Softaculous Premium**.
- Always use a strong admin password.
- Keep Avactis updated to prevent vulnerabilities.
- Consider enabling automatic backups for added protection.
- If you want your domain to go directly to Avactis, leave the **In Directory** field blank.
