Each Ruachost account uses one currency for all prices, invoices and account credit: **Nigerian Naira (NGN)**, **US Dollars (USD)** or **Euros (EUR)**.

## How it's chosen

Your currency is set from your **country** when you create your account. For example, customers in Nigeria are billed in Naira.

## Change your currency

You can't change the currency yourself, but we can change it for you:

1. Pay or cancel any unpaid invoices first.
2. [Open a ticket](https://dashboard.ruachost.com/submitticket.php) in the **Billing** department and tell us which currency you want.

From then on, your renewals and new orders are priced in the new currency. Invoices that are already paid stay in their original currency.

> **Note:**
Prices in each currency are set separately, so a renewal may cost slightly more or less after changing currency.

## Paying in a different currency without changing

If your card or bank account is in a different currency from your invoice, your bank converts the payment at its own rate and may add fees. See [I was charged a different amount](https://helpcenter.ruachost.com/billing/guides/charged-a-different-amount/).
