The **DNS Zone Editor** in cPanel allows you to add, edit, and delete DNS records for your domains. This is essential for configuring websites, email, and third‑party services.

## About DNS Records

- **A Record** → Maps a domain name (e.g., `example.com`) to an IP address (e.g., `104.218.15.162`).
- **CNAME Record** → Creates an alias by pointing one domain to another (e.g., `mail.example.com` → `example.com`).
- **TXT Record** → Stores arbitrary text, often used for SPF, DKIM, or verification purposes.

Misconfigured DNS records can make your site inaccessible or break email delivery.

## Adding a Record

1. Log in to **cPanel**.
2. Go to **Domains → Zone Editor**.
3. Under **Domains**, locate the domain → click **Manage**.\
