cPanel makes it easy to create, modify, and delete e‑mail accounts for your domains. You can also set quotas, reset passwords, and access webmail directly.

## Creating an E‑mail Account

1. **Log in to cPanel**.
2. On the **Tools page**, in the **Email** section, click **Email Accounts**.
3. Click **Create**.
4. From the **Domain** menu, select the domain for the new account.

   - If the domain doesn’t appear, check your subdomain or alias configuration.
5. Enter a **Username** (e.g., `info@example.com`).

   - Note: You cannot use `cpanel` as a username.
6. Set the **Password**:

   - Either type one manually, or click **Generate** for a strong password.
   - Alternatively, send a login link to an alternate e‑mail address.
7. Under **Optional Settings**:

   - Set a **Storage Quota** (or choose Unlimited).
   - Enable **Plus Addressing** (auto‑create folders for addresses like `user+sales@example.com`).
   - Choose to send a **welcome e‑mail with client setup instructions**.
8. Click **Create**.

## Modifying an E‑mail Account

1. Log in to **cPanel → Email Accounts**.
2. Locate the account → click **Manage**.
3. Options include:

   - **Check Email** → access webmail directly.
   - **Change Password** → update credentials under **Security**.
   - **Change Quota** → adjust storage under **Storage**.
   - **Set Restrictions** → enable/disable incoming mail, outgoing mail, or logins.
   - **Plus Addressing Options** → adjust subaddressing behavior.
4. Click **Update Email Settings** to save changes.

## Deleting an E‑mail Account

1. Log in to **cPanel → Email Accounts**.
2. Locate the account → click **Manage**.
3. Scroll to **Delete Email Account**.
4. Click **Delete Email Account** → confirm deletion.

**Warning:** Deleting an account permanently removes all stored e‑mails (inbox, sent, drafts). Download or back up important messages first.

> **Note:**
- You cannot delete the **default e‑mail account** associated with your cPanel username.
- All created accounts can be accessed via **Webmail** or configured in e‑mail clients (Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail).
- For advanced setups, you can also manage **forwarders, autoresponders, and mailing lists** in cPanel.
