This guide explains how to reset your website content back to a default state using cPanel. This is useful if you tested an application and no longer need it, or if a configuration change caused the site to stop working and you want to start fresh.

This reset affects website files and settings, **but it does NOT delete your email accounts or email messages.**

Follow the steps below in the **exact order**:

## 1. Remove Any Applications Installed with Softaculous

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. In the **Softaculous Apps Installer** section, click **Softaculous Apps Installer**.
3. Locate the installed application and remove it.\
   (This ensures the app files and related configurations are removed cleanly.)

## 2. Delete All Databases (MySQL and PostgreSQL)

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. In the **Databases** section:

   - For MySQL, click **Manage My Databases**.
   - For PostgreSQL, click **PostgreSQL Databases**.
3. Delete all databases listed.

This ensures no app data or old configurations remain.

## 3. Remove Subdomains, Addon Domains, and Parked Domains

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. In the **Domains** section:

   - Click **Subdomains** to remove any subdomains.
   - Click **Addon Domains** to remove any addon domains.
   - Click **Aliases** to remove parked domains.

This clears out domain routing and linked website paths.

## 4. Delete All Files in public_html

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. Go to **File Manager**.
3. When prompted, select **Web Root**, then click **Go**.
4. Click **Select All**, then click **Delete**.
5. Confirm the deletion.

This removes all web files under:

```
/home/username/public_html
```

(where `username` is your **ruachost.com** account username)

## 5. Delete All Cron Jobs

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. In the **Advanced** section, click **Cron Jobs**.
3. Remove any scheduled cron tasks listed.

This prevents old tasks from trying to run scripts that no longer exist.

Your account’s site content is now completely reset to the default state.
