The **User Manager** in cPanel enables you to manage **subaccounts** for services like **Email, FTP, and Web Disk** from one convenient interface. This is useful if you want to give different people access to specific services without sharing your main cPanel login.

> **Note:**
- Subaccounts **cannot** log in to cPanel itself.
- They can only access the services you enable (Email, FTP, Web Disk).
- Deleting a subaccount also deletes its email messages, make backups first if needed.

## Adding Subaccounts

1. Log in to **cPanel**.
2. On the **Home screen**, go to **Preferences → User Manager**.
3. Click **Add User**.
4. Fill in the details:

   - **Name** → Display name for the subaccount.
   - **Username** → The login name (format: `username@example.com`).
   - **Domain** → Choose the domain for the account.
   - **Contact Email Address** → Used for notifications and password resets.
5. Under **Security Information**:

   - Choose whether the user sets their own password, or you set it.
   - Use the **Password Generator** for a strong password if you set it yourself.
6. Under **Services**, enable the ones you want:

   - **Email** → Set mailbox quota.
   - **FTP** → Set storage quota and home directory.
   - **Web Disk** → Set home directory and permissions.
7. Click **Create**.

## Editing Subaccounts

1. Log in to **cPanel → User Manager**.
2. Locate the subaccount.
3. To change only the password → click **Change Password**.
4. To edit other settings → click **Edit**, adjust details, then **Save**.

## Deleting Subaccounts

1. Log in to **cPanel → User Manager**.
2. Find the subaccount you want to remove.
3. Click **Delete**.
4. Confirm deletion.

   - This permanently deletes all associated email messages and service access.
