You can check which version of MySQL is installed on your server using cPanel, phpMyAdmin, or the command line.

## Method 1: Using cPanel

1. Log in to your cPanel account.
2. In the right sidebar under **General Information**, click **Server Information**.
3. Locate the **MySQL Version** row to see the installed version.

## Method 2: Using phpMyAdmin

1. Log in to phpMyAdmin.

   - If using cPanel, click the **phpMyAdmin** icon in the **Databases** section.
2. In the **Database server** section, the MySQL version is displayed.

## Method 3: Using the Command Line

1. Log in to your server via SSH.
2. To see a basic version, run:

```
mysql --version
```

3. For detailed version information, log in to MySQL:

```
mysql -u username -p
```

Then run the query:

```
SHOW VARIABLES LIKE "%version%";
```

This provides detailed information, including the MySQL/MariaDB version, database engine version, SSL library, and more. Sample output:

```
MariaDB [(none)] SHOW VARIABLES LIKE "%version%";
