If the new owner also has a Ruachost account, we can move the domain straight to their account. This is an internal move, not a transfer between registrars, so there's no EPP code and no downtime.

## What you need

- The domain must be **active**, not expired.
- The person receiving it must have their own [Ruachost client account](https://dashboard.ruachost.com/register.php).
- The request must come from the **current** account owner.

## How to request the move

1. Log in to the client area that currently holds the domain.
2. [Open a support ticket](https://dashboard.ruachost.com/submitticket.php) and include:
   - the domain name
   - the email address of the Ruachost account it should move to
   - whether hosting or other services should move with it
3. We'll confirm with both account holders, then move the domain.

## After the move

- Your website and email keep working. Nameservers and DNS records don't change.
- The new owner should check the domain's [contact details](https://helpcenter.ruachost.com/domains/guides/updating-your-domain-contact-details/) and update the registrant to their own name.
- Renewal invoices will go to the new account.
