What is a domain?

A domain is the address people type into their browser to visit your website (for example, `yourbusiness.com`). When you register a domain, you gain ownership and control of that name for the duration of your registration period.

Steps to register a domain in Ruachost

1. **Log in** to your hosting account at [ruachost.com](dashboard.ruachost.com).
2. On the **top right of your dashboard**, click on the **“Store”** option.
3. From the **dropdown menu**, select **“Register a Domain.”**
4. Use the **search bar** to enter your desired domain name.
5. If it’s available, click **“Add to Cart.”**
6. Proceed to **checkout** and complete your payment.
7. Once confirmed, the domain will appear in your account under **Domains**.
8. ### Add Extra Services (Optional)

   - You can bundle services like email hosting, SSL certificates, or web hosting with your domain.
9. ### Review and Checkout

   - Review your order summary.
   - Click **Proceed to Checkout**.
