Autoresponders automatically send a reply to incoming e‑mail messages. They’re useful for **out‑of‑office notices**, **support acknowledgements**, or any situation where you want senders to receive an immediate response.

## Creating an Autoresponder

1. **Log in to cPanel**.
2. On the **Tools page**, in the **Email** section, click **Autoresponders**.
3. Click **Add Autoresponder**.
4. Fill in the details:

   - **Character Set** → Leave as `utf-8` (default).
   - **Interval** → Number of hours to wait before sending another auto‑reply to the same sender.

     - Example: Set to `24` so the sender only gets one reply per day.
   - **Email** → Enter the account address (e.g., `info@example.com`).
   - **From** → Name displayed in the reply (e.g., `Customer Support`).
   - **Subject** → Enter the subject line (e.g., `Thank you for contacting us`).
   - **Body** → Type the message. You can use **HTML formatting** if desired.
   - **Start / Stop** → Choose when the autoresponder should begin and end.
5. Click **Create**.

## Editing an Autoresponder

1. Log in to **cPanel → Autoresponders**.
2. Locate the account → click **Edit**.
3. Update the subject, body, interval, or dates.
4. Click **Modify** to save changes.

## Deleting an Autoresponder

1. Log in to **cPanel → Autoresponders**.
2. Locate the account → click **Delete**.
3. Confirm deletion.

## Example Autoresponder Message

```
Subject: Thank you for contacting Ruachost Support
Hello,
We’ve received your message and will respond within 24 hours.
If your inquiry is urgent, please call our support line.
Best regards,
Ruachost Support Team
```

> **Note:**
- Use the **Interval** setting to avoid spamming senders with repeated replies.
- Autoresponders are account‑specific, you must configure them separately for each e‑mail address.
- HTML formatting is supported, but keep messages simple to avoid spam filters.
