The **webmail interface** (Roundcube) allows users to manage their e‑mail accounts directly in a browser. Beyond reading and sending messages, you can configure account settings, filters, and preferences without needing cPanel access.

## What You Can Configure in Webmail

From the **webmail landing page**, you can manage:

- **Autoresponders** → Set automated replies (e.g., vacation notices).
- **Account Password** → Change your login password securely.
- **Preferred Webmail Application** → Choose Roundcube as your default.
- **E‑mail Filters** → Create rules to block, redirect, or organize mail.
- **E‑mail Forwarders** → Forward messages to another address.
- **Calendars & Contacts** → Configure CalDAV/CardDAV sync with local clients.
- **Contact Information** → Update details for notifications and password resets.
- **Account Preferences** → Adjust interface settings.
- **Spam Filters** → Manage spam detection and handling.

## Steps to Configure an Account via Webmail

1. **Log in to Webmail**:

   - Through cPanel → **Email Accounts → Check Email**.
   - Or directly:

     ```
     https://example.com:2096
     ```

     *(Replace* `example.com` *with your domain.)*
2. On first login, the **landing page** appears:

   - Under **Change your webmail client**, select **Roundcube**.
3. From the landing page, you can:

   - **Manage Your Inbox** → Autoresponders, Filters, Forwarders.
   - **Edit Your Settings** → Password, Contact Info, Preferences.
   - **Fight Spam** → Adjust Spam Filters.
   - **Open Your Inbox** → Click **Open** to access Roundcube.
4. (Optional) To skip the landing page in future:

   - Check **Open my inbox when I log in**.

> **Note:**
- Changes made in webmail apply only to that account.
- Password changes affect all access methods (webmail, IMAP, SMTP).
- Autoresponders and filters are account‑specific, not domain‑wide.
