Mailing lists allow you to send one message to many recipients at once. cPanel uses the **Mailman list manager** to provide this functionality. You can create, manage, and delete mailing lists directly from your hosting account.

## About Mailing Lists

- A mailing list is a single e‑mail address that distributes messages to multiple subscribers.
- Example: `customers@example.com` → sends one message to all customers.
- Options include:

  - Public vs. Private lists.
  - Welcome messages for new subscribers.
  - Administrative delegation.

Before creating a mailing list, familiarize yourself with rules against **unsolicited e‑mail (spam)**.
