E‑mail forwarders allow you to automatically redirect incoming messages from one address to another. This is useful if you want multiple people to receive messages sent to a single address, or if you want to consolidate mail into one inbox.

## Types of Forwarders

- **Account Forwarders** → Forward messages from one specific e‑mail account (e.g., `info@example.com`) to another (e.g., `support@example.com`).
- **Domain Forwarders** → Forward all messages sent to one domain (e.g., `@test.example.com`) to another domain (e.g., `@example.com`).

> **Caution:**
Forwarders also forward spam. If too much unsolicited mail is forwarded, services like Gmail or Outlook.com may block your server’s IP. As an alternative, consider configuring Gmail or Outlook to **pull messages directly** from your hosting account.

## Adding an Account Forwarder

1. Log in to **cPanel**.
2. On the **Tools page**, go to **Email → Forwarders**.
3. Under **Create an Email Account Forwarder**, click **Add Forwarder**.
4. Fill in the details:

   - **Address to Forward** → Enter the username (e.g., `info`).
   - **Domain** → Select the domain (e.g., `example.com`).
   - **Destination** → Choose one:

     - Forward to another e‑mail address.
     - Discard with error message (SMTP failure).
     - Advanced options: forward to system account, pipe to a program, or discard entirely.
5. Click **Add Forwarder**.

## Deleting an Account Forwarder

1. Log in to **cPanel → Forwarders**.
2. Under **Email Account Forwarders**, locate the forwarder.
3. Click **Delete** → confirm.

   - Note: You cannot edit a forwarder. To change it, delete and recreate.

2. Under **Create an Email Account Forwarder**, click **Add Domain Forwarder**.
3. Select the domain you want to forward.
