**Yes.** Ruachost hosting supports **HTTP/2**.

HTTP/2 is a newer version of the protocol browsers use to load websites. It can load many files (images, styles and scripts) over a single connection at the same time, so pages usually load faster.

## How to use it

You don't need to switch anything on. Browsers only use HTTP/2 over **HTTPS**, so the only thing your website needs is an SSL certificate. Every Ruachost hosting plan includes free SSL through AutoSSL.

Once your site loads with `https://`, visitors' browsers use HTTP/2 automatically.

## Check that it's working

1. Open your website in Chrome or Firefox.
2. Press **F12** to open the developer tools and click the **Network** tab.
3. Reload the page. Right-click the column headers and turn on **Protocol**.
4. You should see **h2** next to your website's files.

If you see **http/1.1**, make sure your site is loading over HTTPS.
