**Yes.** Ruachost supports PHP sessions.

## What are PHP sessions?

Sessions let a PHP application remember information about a visitor between pages, such as whether they're logged in or what's in their shopping cart. Most PHP applications, including WordPress plugins, WooCommerce, Joomla and Laravel, rely on them.

## Using sessions

Sessions work without any extra setup:

```php
<?php
session_start();
$_SESSION['name'] = 'Ada';
echo $_SESSION['name'];
```

## Troubleshooting

If sessions aren't saving between pages:

- Make sure `session_start()` runs before any output (including blank lines or spaces before `<?php`).
- Check that your browser accepts cookies, since the session ID is stored in a cookie.
- If your account's disk space is full, PHP can't save session files. Check **Disk Usage** in cPanel.
