**Yes.** You can use **virtualenv** and **pip** for Python projects on Ruachost hosting.

- **virtualenv** creates a separate Python environment for each project, so each one can have its own packages and versions.
- **pip** installs Python packages, such as Flask, Django or Requests, into that environment.

## The easiest way: Python selector

The **Setup Python App** tool in cPanel creates a virtual environment for you:

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. Open **Setup Python App** and click **Create Application**.
3. Choose the Python version and your application folder, then click **Create**.
4. Copy the command shown at the top of the page. It activates your app's virtual environment over SSH.
5. Connect with SSH, paste the command, then install packages with pip:

```bash
pip install -r requirements.txt
```

You can also list packages in **Configuration files** on the app's page and click **Run Pip Install**.
