**Yes.** PHP on Ruachost hosting supports common web service protocols, including **SOAP** and **XML-RPC**. You can also call and build **REST** APIs over HTTPS with PHP's standard tools, such as cURL and JSON.

## What this means for you

- Your PHP scripts can connect to external services (for example payment gateways, shipping providers or government APIs) that use SOAP or XML-RPC.
- You can publish your own web service from your hosting account.
- Applications such as WordPress, which use XML-RPC, work as normal.

## If an extension seems to be missing

PHP extensions are managed per PHP version. If your script reports that a class such as `SoapClient` is not found:

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. Open **Select PHP Version**.
3. Click **Extensions** and make sure the extension you need (for example `soap` or `xmlrpc`) is ticked.

> **Tip:**
To check what is enabled, create a file containing `<?php phpinfo();` in your website folder, open it in your browser, then delete it when you're done.
