**Yes.** Ruachost hosting supports **wildcard DNS** and wildcard subdomains.

A wildcard record, written as `*.example.com`, matches any subdomain that you haven't set up separately. For example, `blog.example.com`, `shop.example.com` and `anything.example.com` all go to the same place.

## Create a wildcard subdomain in cPanel

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. Open **Domains** in the **Domains** section.
3. Click **Create A New Domain**.
4. In the **Domain** box, type `*.example.com` (using your own domain).
5. Check the **Document Root** folder. cPanel fills it in, and you can change it if you want the wildcard to show a particular site.
6. Click **Submit**.

cPanel creates the wildcard DNS record for you. Subdomains you create separately still work as normal and take priority over the wildcard.

> **Note:**
If your domain uses nameservers from another provider, add an `A` record for `*` at that provider too.

## Common uses

- Catching mistyped subdomains and sending visitors to your main site.
- Giving each user or customer their own address, such as `username.example.com`.
- WordPress Multisite with subdomains.
