# Affiliate commissions and payouts

> How much Ruachost affiliates earn, which orders count, when commission is approved, and how to withdraw by account credit, bank transfer, PayPal or crypto.

## How much you earn

You earn **30%** of the **first payment** a referred customer makes for a **hosting plan**.

| Example order (illustrative prices) | Your commission |
| --- | --- |
| Hosting plan, paid annually: ₦60,000 | ₦18,000 |
| Hosting plan, paid monthly: ₦5,000 | ₦1,500 (first month only) |
| Hosting ₦60,000 + domain ₦15,000 in the same order | ₦18,000 (hosting only) |

What counts:

- **Hosting plans only.** Domains, SSL certificates, email and other products don't earn commission.
- **First purchase only.** Renewals and later orders from the same customer don't earn commission.
- **New customers only.** The customer must create a new Ruachost account through your link.
- **Within 90 days.** The customer must buy within 90 days of clicking your link. If they click another affiliate's link afterwards, the most recent link counts.

Commission is calculated on the amount actually paid, after any discounts and before VAT.

## When commission is approved

New commissions show as **pending** for **30 days**. This covers our money-back guarantee. After 30 days, if the customer hasn't cancelled, been refunded or disputed the payment, the commission is approved and added to your available balance.

If the order is refunded, cancelled or charged back within the 30 days, the commission is cancelled.

## Withdrawing your earnings

You can request a withdrawal once your **approved balance reaches ₦40,000**. Commissions are counted in Naira and can be converted to any currency when paid.

| Payout method | Good to know |
| --- | --- |
| **Account credit** | Added to your Ruachost account straight away, to pay for your own services |
| **Bank transfer (NGN)** | Paid to a Nigerian bank account in your name |
| **PayPal** | Paid to the PayPal account you give us |
| **Cryptocurrency** | Paid to the wallet address you give us |

To withdraw:

1. Go to the [Affiliates page](https://dashboard.ruachost.com/affiliates.php) in the client area.
2. Click **Request Withdrawal**.
3. [Open a ticket](https://dashboard.ruachost.com/submitticket.php) in the **Billing** department with your preferred payout method and details (bank account, PayPal email or wallet address), if we don't already have them.

We'll confirm the payment once it's sent. Check your payout details carefully: we can't recover payments sent to wrong details you gave us.
