Ruachost servers are hosted in professional data centres in four locations:

| Location | Country |
| --- | --- |
| **Frankfurt** | Germany |
| **Amsterdam** | Netherlands |
| **Paris** | France |
| **Seattle** | United States |

These data centres have redundant power, cooling and network connections, and strong links to Africa, Europe and the Americas.

## Find your server

Your server's name and IP address are in:

- **Your welcome email,** sent when your hosting account was set up
- **cPanel:** look under **General Information** on the right. **Server Name** and **Shared IP Address** are shown there.
- **The client area:** open **Services**, then your hosting plan.

## Does server location matter?

For most websites, the difference is small, especially with caching turned on. Pages load fastest for visitors closest to the server, so if most of your visitors are in one region, a nearby location helps a little. A content delivery network such as Cloudflare can also serve your site from servers near your visitors.
