# Domain and DNS checker

> Check any domain's nameservers, website records and email records (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) in one go, with plain-English fixes.

Enter a domain to see where its DNS is managed, whether the website and `www` point to a server, and whether email is set up so messages arrive and don't land in spam. Each result links to the guide that fixes it.

## What it checks

- **Domain:** whether the domain is active, which nameservers manage its DNS, and whether a recent nameserver change is still spreading.
- **Website:** the A records for the domain and for `www`, and which server they point to.
- **Email:** the MX records (which email service receives your mail), and the SPF, DKIM and DMARC records that keep your messages out of spam.

The check asks Google's and Cloudflare's public DNS, the same answers most of the internet sees. If you've just made a change, give it time: see [DNS propagation explained](https://helpcenter.ruachost.com/domains/dns/when-can-i-see-changes-in-my-domain-if-i-just-edited-my-dns-records/).
