**WebHost Manager (WHM)** is the administrative interface that allows you to manage hosting accounts, configure server settings, and perform advanced tasks. It is typically used by resellers, VPS, and dedicated server customers.

## Why Use WHM?

- Create and manage cPanel accounts for customers.
- Configure hosting packages and account limits.
- Manage DNS zones, email, and security settings.
- Monitor server performance and resource usage.
- Perform backups and restorations.

## Methods to Access WHM

### 1. Direct Login via URL

You can log in directly using your domain name and WHM port:

Replace `example.com` with your actual domain name. ⚠️ Note: Some firewalls may block port **2087**, in which case `https://whm.example.com` may be the only option.

### 2. Access WHM from cPanel

1. **Log in to cPanel.**
2. Scroll to the **Advanced section**.
3. Click **WebHost Manager**.
4. The WHM home screen will open in a new tab.

## Logging Out of WHM

- When finished, click the **person icon** at the top right.
- Select **Log Out**.
- This ensures your session is securely closed.

> **Note:**
- WHM access requires **root** or **reseller credentials**.
- Shared hosting customers do not have WHM access; they use cPanel only.
- Always log out after use to prevent unauthorized access.
