Where are Ruachost's servers?

Ruachost servers are hosted in professional data centres in four locations:

These data centres have redundant power, cooling and network connections, and strong links to Africa, Europe and the Americas.

Find your server

Your server’s name and IP address are in:

• Your welcome email, sent when your hosting account was set up
• cPanel: look under General Information on the right. Server Name and Shared IP Address are shown there.
• The client area: open Services, then your hosting plan.

To know which location your account is in, or if you need your website hosted in a particular location, contact support.

Does server location matter?

For most websites, the difference is small, especially with caching turned on. Pages load fastest for visitors closest to the server, so if most of your visitors are in one region, a nearby location helps a little.
