Do you support sending bulk mail?

No. You can’t send bulk email, such as newsletters or marketing campaigns to large lists, from a Ruachost hosting account.

Why

Bulk email from shared servers often leads to spam complaints. That can get the server’s IP address blocklisted, which stops email from reaching inboxes for every customer on that server. To protect everyone’s email, we limit how much each account can send.

The sending limit

Each hosting account can send up to 200 emails per hour. This is plenty for normal business email, contact form messages and order notifications from your website.

If you go over the limit, extra messages are not sent and you may receive a bounce message.

How to send newsletters and campaigns

Use a dedicated email marketing or sending service. These services:

• Handle unsubscribes and bounces for you.
• Give you reports on opens and clicks.
• Use their own servers, so your hosting limit isn’t affected.

Keep your list clean, and only email people who have agreed to hear from you.
