Do you support HTTP/2?

Yes. Ruachost hosting supports HTTP/2.

HTTP/2 is a newer version of the protocol browsers use to load websites. It can load many files (images, styles and scripts) over a single connection at the same time, so pages usually load faster.

How to use it

You don’t need to switch anything on. Browsers only use HTTP/2 over HTTPS, so the only thing your website needs is an SSL certificate. Every Ruachost hosting plan includes free SSL through AutoSSL.

Once your site loads with https://, visitors’ browsers use HTTP/2 automatically.

Check that it’s working

1. Open your website in Chrome or Firefox.
2. Press F12 to open the developer tools and click the Network tab.
3. Reload the page. Right-click the column headers and turn on Protocol.
4. You should see h2 next to your website’s files.

If you see http/1.1, make sure your site is loading over HTTPS.
