Optimising WordPress with the WP Rocket plugin

Buying WP Rocket

1. Go to wp-rocket.me and choose a licence.
2. Complete the purchase on the WP Rocket website.
3. Download the plugin zip file from your WP Rocket account.

Tip

Installing WP Rocket

1. Download the installation zip file from your WP Rocket account.
2. Log in to your WordPress site as administrator.
3. In the dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
4. Select the WP Rocket zip file → Click Install Now.
5. After installation, click Activate Plugin.
6. WP Rocket will validate your license and display your key.

⚠️ Important: WP Rocket is incompatible with other caching plugins (e.g., W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache). Deactivate them before activating WP Rocket.

⚙️ Configuring WP Rocket

By default, WP Rocket enables key optimizations automatically:

• Page caching
• GZIP compression
• Browser caching
• Image optimization

For advanced configuration:

1. In WordPress, go to Settings → WP Rocket.

2. Enable additional options such as:

   • CSS/JavaScript minification

   • Lazy loading for images/videos

   • Cache preloading

   • Database optimization

   • Cloudflare integration (if using CDN)

3. Click Save Changes.
