Limiting active logins for a user account in Joomla

By default, Joomla allows a user to log in from multiple devices or browsers at the same time. This can lead to account sharing or security risks. On ruachost.com, you can restrict the number of active logins per user by installing and configuring the Limit Active Logins Component.

  • Prevents excessive account sharing.
  • Enhances site security by restricting simultaneous sessions.
  • Helps enforce licensing or subscription rules.
  • Provides better control over user activity.
