Affiliate program rules

These rules apply to everyone in the Ruachost Affiliate Program, together with our Terms of Service. By activating your affiliate account, you agree to them.

Commission terms

• You earn 30% of a referred customer’s first payment for a hosting plan. Domains, SSL certificates, email, renewals and other products don’t earn commission.
• The referral cookie lasts 90 days. The last affiliate link clicked before the purchase gets the commission.
• Commission is approved 30 days after the sale. Commission on orders that are cancelled, refunded or charged back in that time is cancelled.
• The minimum payout is ₦40,000. Payouts are made by account credit, bank transfer (NGN), PayPal or cryptocurrency.
• Commission rates and terms may change. Changes apply to new referrals from the date they’re announced.

Allowed

• Sharing your link on your own website, blog, social media, videos, newsletters and courses
• Honest reviews, comparisons and tutorials that mention Ruachost
• Recommending Ruachost to your clients, with your link
• Using the Ruachost name to describe our services accurately

Not allowed

• Self-referrals: buying hosting for yourself, or for another account you control, through your own link
• Fake or incentivised sign-ups: paying or rewarding people to sign up and then cancel, or creating fake orders
• Spam: sending unsolicited emails, SMS, WhatsApp or social media messages with your link
• Brand bidding: paid search ads on “Ruachost”, “Ruach Hosting” or misspellings of them, or ads that send people to your link from those searches
• Pretending to be Ruachost: domain names, social media accounts, websites or ads that look like they’re from Ruachost
• False claims: promising prices, discounts, features or support we don’t offer
• Coupon and cookie stuffing: posting fake discount codes, or setting your cookie without the visitor clicking your link
• Promoting through illegal or adult content, or anything that breaks our Acceptable Use Policy

If the rules are broken

We may hold or cancel commissions earned from the activity, and close the affiliate account. Serious or repeated misuse may also affect your Ruachost customer account. Where we can, we’ll contact you first to explain what’s wrong.
