Moving a domain to another Ruachost account
If the new owner also has a Ruachost account, we can move the domain straight to their account. This is an internal move, not a transfer between registrars, so there’s no EPP code and no downtime.
What you need
Section titled “What you need”- The domain must be active, not expired.
- The person receiving it must have their own Ruachost client account.
- The request must come from the current account owner.
How to request the move
Section titled “How to request the move”- Log in to the client area that currently holds the domain.
- Open a support ticket and include:
- the domain name
- the email address of the Ruachost account it should move to
- whether hosting or other services should move with it
- We’ll confirm with both account holders, then move the domain.
After the move
Section titled “After the move”- Your website and email keep working. Nameservers and DNS records don’t change.
- The new owner should check the domain’s contact details and update the registrant to their own name.
- Renewal invoices will go to the new account.
