Do you support mod_passenger?

No. We do not support the mod_passenger Apache module on shared hosting accounts.

What is mod_passenger?

Phusion Passenger (mod_passenger) is an application server that runs Ruby, Python and Node.js web applications behind Apache.

How to run these applications instead

cPanel includes tools for setting up these applications on shared hosting:

• Setup Ruby App for Ruby and Ruby on Rails. See Do you support Ruby on Rails?.
• Setup Python App for Python frameworks such as Django and Flask
• Setup Node.js App for Node.js applications

If you need full control over the application server, consider a Managed VPS.
