Do you support Zend Optimizer?
Yes. We support using Zend Optimizer to improve your PHP application’s performance.
Zend Optimizer and modern PHP
Section titled “Zend Optimizer and modern PHP”Zend Optimizer was designed for older PHP versions. It ran code encoded with Zend Guard and added basic optimisation. On current PHP versions:
- Performance optimisation is built into PHP itself through OPcache. See Enabling PHP opcode caching.
- Encoded applications are usually protected with ionCube, which we also support. See Do you support ionCube PHP Encoder?.
If your application specifically requires Zend Optimizer or Zend Guard Loader, open a support ticket and tell us the application and the PHP version it needs. We’ll confirm the right setup for your account.
