You can send emails but can't receive them
If you can send email but incoming messages aren’t arriving, the most common cause is disk space. Either your hosting account or the email address itself has run out of space, so new messages are rejected. You’ll need to free up or increase space to receive mail again.
1. Check your mailbox quota
Section titled “1. Check your mailbox quota”- Log in to cPanel and open Email Accounts.
- Find your email address and look at the Storage: Used / Allocated column.
- If it’s full, click Manage and increase the quota or set it to Unlimited, or delete old messages in webmail at webmail.ruachost.com and empty the Trash.
2. Check your hosting account’s disk space
Section titled “2. Check your hosting account’s disk space”In cPanel, look at Disk Usage in the Statistics panel on the right. If your account is full, delete old backups, unused files or large emails, or upgrade your plan from the client area.
3. Check your MX records
Section titled “3. Check your MX records”If your mailbox has space, check that your domain’s MX records point to our mail server. In cPanel, open Email Routing and make sure Local Mail Exchanger is selected (unless you use an outside email provider such as Google Workspace).
4. Check for bounce messages
Section titled “4. Check for bounce messages”Ask someone to send you a test email. If they receive a bounce (delivery failure) message, the error code in it tells you the cause. For example, “mailbox full” or “quota exceeded” confirms a space problem.
