Adding a Carousel Slider for WordPress

A Carousel Slider lets you display images, videos, posts, or products in a stylish, responsive slider. On ruachost.com, you can install the Carousel Slider plugin to create and customize sliders for your WordPress site.

  1. Log in to WordPress with an administrator account.
  2. In the dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New.
  3. Search for Carousel Slider.
  4. Click Install Now, then Activate.
  5. The Carousel Slider menu will now appear in the sidebar.

  1. In the dashboard, go to Carousel Slider → Add New.

  2. Enter a Name for your slider.

  3. Scroll down to the Carousel Section to configure settings:

    • Slide Type → Choose from images, videos, posts, or WooCommerce products.
    • Add Gallery → Upload or select images from the Media Library.
    • Autoplay Settings → Enable automatic sliding.
    • Navigation Settings → Choose arrows, dots, or both.

  4. Click Publish to save your slider.

Displaying the Slider

  • Copy the shortcode generated for your slider.
  • Paste it into any post, page, or widget.
  • Publish the page → The carousel slider will now appear.

  • Limit the number of slides to avoid performance issues.
  • Test responsiveness on mobile devices.
