Sharing your link
Section titled “Sharing your link”Copy your referral link and use it anywhere you talk about hosting:
- in reviews, tutorials and “how I built my website” posts
- in your website’s footer (“Hosted by Ruachost”)
- in videos and their descriptions
- in proposals and handover documents for your clients
Linking to a specific plan
Section titled “Linking to a specific plan”Your referral link takes visitors to ruachost.com. Once someone has clicked your link, the 90-day cookie is set, so any hosting they buy on ruachost.com in that time counts, whichever page they go to next.
To send people straight to a plan, ask them to click your referral link first, then choose the plan.
Why isn’t my referral showing?
Section titled “Why isn’t my referral showing?”- The customer cleared their cookies, used a different browser or device, or blocked cookies, so the click wasn’t linked to the order.
- They bought more than 90 days after clicking.
- They clicked another affiliate’s link after yours.
- They were already a Ruachost customer, or ordered something other than hosting.
- The order isn’t paid yet. Commission appears once the invoice is paid.
If you think a referral is missing, open a ticket with the customer’s domain name and order date. We’ll check it.
