If I buy a domain from Ruachost, will it be registered in my name?

Yes. When you register a domain through Ruachost, it is registered in your name, and you can transfer it to any other company if you ever need to.

The person or organisation listed as the registrant is the legal owner of the domain. Make sure the registrant details are accurate, especially your name and email address, because they’re used to verify ownership and to approve transfers.

  1. Log in to the Ruachost client area.
  2. Go to Domains → My Domains and select your domain.
  3. Open Contact Information to review or update the registrant details.

You can transfer your domain to another registrar at any time, subject to registry rules (for example, most domains can’t be transferred within 60 days of registration or a previous transfer). To start, unlock the domain and request the EPP or authorisation code from the client area.

Open a support ticket from your Ruachost client area and our team will help.
