How often am I billed?
Section titled “How often am I billed?”- Hosting: you choose your billing cycle when you order: monthly, annually, or for longer terms of up to 10 years. Longer cycles usually cost less overall.
- Domains: renew every year. Some domains can be renewed for several years at once.
How do renewals work?
Section titled “How do renewals work?”Your services renew automatically at the end of each billing period. We create your renewal invoice 30 days before the due date and email it to you. You can see your renewal dates in the client area at any time.
- Any account credit is applied to the invoice automatically.
- If you have a saved card, it’s charged automatically.
- Otherwise, pay the invoice in the client area before its due date.
See Automatic renewal and saved cards.
You can turn off auto-renewal for domains, but then you must remember to renew before they expire. See Renewing an expired domain.
Can I change my billing cycle?

What happens if I pay late?
Section titled “What happens if I pay late?”If your hosting renewal isn’t paid by its due date, the account is suspended: your website and email stop working until you pay. Pay the invoice and it’s reactivated automatically.
A suspended account that isn’t paid within 30 days is terminated, and its files, databases and email are permanently deleted. See Hosting account suspended.
If you need more time to pay, contact us before your due date.

Section titled “Is there a money-back guarantee?”Yes, for hosting:
| Hosting billing cycle | Money-back guarantee |
|---|---|
| Monthly | 7 days from the order date |
| Annual | 30 days from the order date |
To use it, open a support ticket within that period and ask to cancel for a refund. Refunds are added to your account credit, usually within 24 hours. See Refunds.
- The guarantee covers hosting only. Domains, SSL certificates and other services aren’t covered.
- If you got a free domain with your hosting, the domain’s regular price is deducted from your refund, and the domain stays yours.
